Perfume advert, The script

(MUSIC BEGINS TO PLAY)

EXT- A DULL STREET IN THE RAIN- DAY

A young looking woman between the age of 18 and 23 sitting slumped and depressed on the pavement in the rain. Wearing shaggy ragged clothing, smudged black makeup and knotted hair.

A 24 year old male who is a well dressed character walks by, Oblivious to his surroundings and doesn’t acknowledge the depressed woman.

A Mysterious character dressed in a bright red robe holding a box enters the scene, It is unknown on the characters sex and facial features. The mysterious character hands the box to the woman then creeps away.

The woman opens the box revealing the beautiful bottle of perfume.

INT- BRIGHT COLOURFUL CLEAN ROOM- DAY

The same woman’s image has now changed drastically; she has beautiful luscious flowing hair, neat makeup and wearing a long dress, spraying herself with the perfume.

Next, a close-up of the woman as she turns towards the camera smiling.

EXT- SAME STREET CLEARER WEATHER- DAY

Woman struts down the street with a big joyful expression of her face.

ZOOM IN- Well groomed man now realises beautiful woman, he has a cheeky looking smile on his face.

EXT- BALCONY- NIGHT

ZOOM OUT- The man and woman now come together and hug.

INT- BLACK ROOM-NIGHT

The bottle of perfume is then displayed.

An inspiration perfume advertisement with a fantasy/dark theme. 

Actor wardrobe and Filming scenes

The female actor will be wearing three outfits throughout the video.


-First of all the female actor will be wearing a gown with very neat hair and makeup this will be for scene three but will be filmed first. She will first spray the perfume and look beautiful, Look over her shoulder with her back to the camera while flicking her hair, Secondly a mid shot will be taken(cut off at her nose to her waist) holding the perfume in her left hand revealing the perfumes name .


-Secondly scene two will be filmed. In this scene the female actor will be wearing a less formal yet pretty/sexy dress and more casual hair and neat makeup.


-Scene one will be filmed last of all, as the female actor will need to smudge all her makeup and mess her hair up also she will be wearing ragged clothing.


-The male actor will only wear one outfit, this outfit needs to be smart and fashionable 
The male actor is involved in both scene one and two.


-And lastly the mysterious character will be wearing a robe the hood will need to cover their face. 
-This character is only involved in the last scene to be filmed which is scene one.

Filming date announced

The date the production will commence is the 7th of February 


All crew, equipment and outfits for actors will be needed.

Initial Ideas

My idea is to create a perfume advertisement, the advertisement is going to appeal to women as women are the target audience. 


Within the story of the video you will see a young women dressed in ragged clothing, The woman is depressed as men do not notice her or are attracted to her. A mysterious cloaked figure brings a box to the woman, inside the box there is a bottle of perfume, once the woman uses the perfume she is transformed into a beautiful goddess like woman.  
The man now notices the woman and they fall in love.
